Ember Rise Book Club: Democracy Series
Ember Rise Book Club: Democracy Series is a community-based reading and discussion
program offered in Farsi that creates a space for learning, reflection, and meaningful
conversation through shared reading.
The first selected book in this series is The Narrow Corridor: States, Societies, and the Fate of Liberty by Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson.
Through chapter-by-chapter review and group discussion, participants explore key ideas,
questions, and themes from the book while engaging in dialogue and exchange of perspectives. The program encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and community connection through the shared experience of reading and conversation.
